Freedom Minibus

The Freedom Low Floor Minibus

The Freedom low floor minibus has been developed to offer passengers easily accessible passenger transport and fleet managers affordable whole life costs.

The 3 key crucial elements of the vehicle are:

The Fiat Ducato cab with the 3.0JTD euro 5 engine generating 160BHP, through either a manual or semi automatic 6 speed gearbox.
A ladder frame single axle chassis conversion which is recognised and approved by Fiat.
A custom built body, manufactured using the latest production technology.

The aluminium body frame is finished in a single GRP skin with one piece contoured mouldings to the cab and rear of the vehicle, with LED lighting to both the lower and high level light clusters.

KFS utilise Unwins proven inner track floor system, having carried out independent VCA witnessed M2 testing to the whole vehicle structure with Rescroft Defender 3 seating and upper anchorage tracking for wheelchair restraints.

VB air suspension has been developed for the rear axle and can be specified with either controls placed in the cab or operating automatically when opening and closing the rear doors.
