AVT Logistics Ltd benefit from KFS Special Vehicles Car Transporter Engineering Expertise

Citroen Car Transporter AVT Logistics have for a number of years operated KFS beavertail car transporters for the moving of new cars all over the UK, for mainly the Audi and Volkswagen dealer network.

William Beach, Managing Director of AVT Logistics approached KFS concerned at the increasing kerb weight of cars and challenged the company to design a lighter transporter without compromising strength and flexibility. KFS’s design team went to work and using the latest CAD 3D soft ware designed and built the Ultra.

Using a Fiat/Citroen cab with a type approved chassis conversion and aluminium open deck body, the overall kerb weight of the finished vehicle was 1,760kg, allowing AVT to carry the larger cars they needed to.
