Plant Hire Vehicles Testimonial

"Plantool have been operating a Plant & Go vehicle for some 18 months now and have found the unit to be particularly flexible with regards to the deck height for loading and unloading of the full range of equipment we offer. The unit has proved both reliable and extremely economical, and removed the need to tow a trailer allowing anybody in the company to drive the vehicle without worrying if they have the correct classification on their licence."

KFS Plant & Go: The Obvious Choice

Secure storage is part of the design

Fully loaded and ready to go.
KFS have delivered four Plant & Go vehicles to a national Landscape Management Company, who has been successful in winning a five year contract to provide a wide range of ground maintenance operations at a number of sites within the UK.

KFS were given a specific brief as to what the vehicle needed to transport and the fact it had to be multi functional to allow maximisation of the vehicle throughout the year.

KFS, due to the custom built nature of the Plant & Go design, were able to offer an engineered solution which surpassed that brief and removed the need to not only tow, but could carry the full compliment of plant and equipment necessary.

The companies Logistics Manager said:
“although price was a factor, and KFS proved competitive, the exceptional payload and low deck height were crucial elements in the final decision. The ability to carry the full range of equipment on a single 3.5 ton vehicle, offering secure storage with easy and safe loading and unloading is fantastic. Added to that the low deck and unique ribbed floor used means our experience of operatives having accidents when in the process of moving equipment on and off the vehicle, we feel will be a thing of the past.

The initial feedback from the drivers is excellent, having been used to driving more traditional flat bed/beavertail conversions on a conventional chassis cab. The vehicle is far more stable when fully loaded as a result of the low centre of gravity and rear torsion bar suspension.”
