Chris Ward Motors Chooses KFS Car Light Weight Beavertail Car Transporter

Chris Ward Motors have taken delivery of a light weight car transporter from KFS Special Vehicles. The 3.5 ton Ultra from KFS has been developed specifically for vehicle movements and has proved an enormous success with logistics companies and car dealers who want to maximise payload in a 3.5 ton package.

The light weight beavertail transporter has a kerb weight of 1,820kg offering a potential payload of 1,680kg.

KFS were careful while developing the Ultra not to compromise built quality. The all aluminium deck and crash bar sit on a low frame galvanised chassis and comes with 8 foot aluminium load certified ramps. The light weight beavertail style body allows easy loading and offloading giving a compact, maneuverable car transporter able to cope with most vehicles.  The torsion bar rear suspension ensures when the vehicle is fully loaded the transporter still retains excellent driving characteristics and returns upwards of 32mpg combined.
