A1 Breakdown take delivery of their latest KFS 3,500KG Recovery Truck

A1 Breakdown & Recovery Services have taken delivery of their Fiat Ducato based Recovery Truck from KFS Special Vehicles Ltd. Andy Morris from A1 worked closely with KFS on the final specification of the vehicle and decided on the dropped chassis conversion exclusive to KFS, and mated it to a 2.3 litre Fiat Ducato cab. KFS provided the whole vehicle making the buying process simple and hassle free.

Although the vehicle is priced slightly higher than a standard KFS bodied chassis cab, the benefits of the increased payload, lower deck height and revised rear suspension set up means the additional cost is quickly recouped in greater operational flexibility.

The final specification on the truck included a solid deck, Premiere Hazard LED light bar, Bushy Hall Delta Winch with nylon rope, locker box, and work lights.

An added surprise for Andy when he took delivery of the truck was KFS had been able to obtain vehicle registration number HX11 ETA, which was most appropriate.

This vehicle replaces a Volkswagen T5 recovery truck previously supplied by KFS.
